Q2: What happens to the area of a square if you DOUBLE the length of its side?

Answer: The Area becomes 4 TIMES bigger! For example, a 2cm square has area 4cm². If side becomes 4cm, area becomes 16cm²!

Q3: Why can't area be measured in centimeters (cm) instead of square centimeters (cm²)?

Answer: Centimeters only measure length in a straight line (1D). Area measures a 2-dimensional surface, so we need 2D square tiles (cm²)!

Answer: Exactly HALF the area of the rectangle!
